What is REACH? REACH is an initiative inspired by the wish to help all NAFC Schools. We rightfully so, each focus on the needs within our own school(s), but what about all the other schools in our community? Do they have needs? Would you volunteer or donate, if you were aware of their needs?
It is our sincere belief that there are many people who would relish a chance to provide help to our schools, but simply don’t know what kind of help to give. We hope that by sharing this information with the families in the community, we can make the right connections between donors/volunteers and the specific needs of our schools.
REACH is in place to serve as a link between each of our schools and the community, and make needs known. New Albany/Floyd County is blessed to have schools filled with administrators and teachers whose life work it is to enrich the lives of our students. Raising children and supporting schools, however, is a community effort and this is where we hope to help.
REACH is most successful when the needs are made aware. The more that know,… the more that may help. Spread the word! We need to extend our database broadly through the community so that we may better help our schools in need.
